WOO HOO!!

Here is a quick news flash!!!!! Maddie finally rolled over. WOO HOO!! Here is the play by play. I decided to make myself a burrito and Nick was in the bedroom changing his clothes. I carefully sat Maddie down on her blanket with her favorite toy a light up bug (thanks Diane). As I was heating my super yummy burrito Maddie began to cry. Nick walked in and said, SHE IS ON HER TUMMY!!! Oh yes, she rolled over when nobody was looking. I have been working and working on rolling over and she does it when I was cooking my burrito for 2 minutes. Our sweet Maddie has decided to not roll over anymore tonight. I am crossing my fingers for tomorrow and maybe I can figure out video by then.

Laundry Helper

I think everyone needs a little laundry helper like our Maddie Cakes. She squeals every time I put the warm laundry on her. She just loves it. I can't believe our little baby is 5 months old. I am still working on figuring out all this blog stuff and how to post a slide show and video. Our friends Natalie, Ben, and baby Isabella are headed over for dinner tonight. Natalie has a great blog so I am going to see if she can give me some tutoring. I am wanting to post this funny video of Maddie screaming. She is so loud. I have no idea who she gets that from. :) Today is our tradition Friday cleaning day and I am trying to finish up some sewing projects. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello World!

I have finally decided to take the leap into the blogging world. I decided that if I was going to send out a weekly Maddie update I might as well just do it on a blog site. I think it might even be easier because I can add pictures and videos so much faster. I big thank you to Mandy and Natalie for encouraging me last night to give this a try. I am going to give this a whirl and see how it works out. No promises! :) I have completely enjoyed reading all my friends blogs and I hope that someone might say that one day about mine. I am going to include all the important Maddie updates, sewing projects, and maybe a few fun Nick and Julie stories. As for today I am off to get my hair done for our fabulous vacation and then I have a few burp cloths to make. Maybe I will post a picture of the rootless me and my craft of the day.
