Playdate

Today we had a fun play date with our MOPS friends! Madeline loved all the boy toys but did ask where the princess dresses were kept.

This was her excited ready to leave the house face.

Everybody loves a good craft at a play date! Will was busy crawling around seeing what they had to pull up on!

So I said I would never "homeschool" and now I kind of am... I mean it is just a preschool program but it is sort of schoolish and I love it. It sure reminds me of how much I loved teaching first grade. Thank you to this http://www.1plus1plus1equals1.com/RaisingRockStarsPreschool.html for the great curriculum! Here is our first week board. A Bible verse, letter, sight word, and number each week. Now if only I could memorize the verse as quickly as Madeline.

Forest Park

To celebrate Columbus Day we headed to Forest Park for a family picnic. Nick took these cute shots of Madeline. It sure is beautiful there! I think we need to have more picnics!
