We had a crazy fall Saturday. It began with Nick and I having to wake up the kids to get ready for soccer. Of course they slept until 8:30 on the day we have to go somewhere by 9:00.
It was a very BRISKY morning (50 degrees at game time). We have learned the key to keeping Will happy for the game is to wait to feed him breakfast. That keeps him busy most of the game.
Nick got so cold he grabbed Will to warm him up. Will loves his new cheese face. He makes it anytime a camera comes out. Even Madeline’s play camera.
Then Madeline and I raced off to Rebekah’s 5th birthday party at Eckert’s. It was a fabulous cooking class. They made pizza, apple dippers, smoothie, and decorated cupcakes. Her mom had made the cutest aprons for each little girl.
Rebekah, Maddie Grace, and Lexi. These three have been in Sunday School together forever and MOPS.
Don’t forget Molly! Her parents now teach the college class so she doesn’t still come to the same Sunday School hour.
After heading home to check on the boys, feed mommy, and put Will down for nap we hurried to party number 2. This time we went to paint pottery. We had a heck of a time trying to decide what to paint. Finally a cupcake plate won.
Rebekah, Maddie Grace and Lexi the birthday girl.
The whole crew. It was very wise to have a painting party not at your own house.
We then headed home and put on our pajamas and watched the ou game and ordered pizza. It was a nice victory and now Nick is rooting on his buckeyes. I’m exhausted and tomorrow includes teaching Sunday School and another birthday party.
