Holy Tumble Weed

As we returned home from the super fun squadron picnic we noticed the crazy amount of tumble weeds. It looks like we might be shoveling out from a blizzard of tumble weeds.

Welcome to Oklahoma!
They are almost up to the top of our shed!

Here is by our front door! What a messThis is our next door neighbors house and the tumble weeds are almost up to the top of their front door. I hope they are careful when they come out to get the mail.

Six Months Old!

Can you believe our little Madeline Grace is six months old? We just went to the doctor for our 6 month check up and shots. She weighs exactly 18 pounds (I thought it would be more) and is 28 1/4 inches in length. She is in the 90% for weight and 99% for length. I think her body is finally catching up to her head. She is only in the 80% for head size. The doctor said everything looked perfect and he won't need to see us until her 12 month check up.
I am going to take some pictures of our princess today or tomorrow.
It will all depend on her shot crankiness.

Happy Birthday Nick!

Today is Nick's 31st birthday. He has been celebrating all weekend. It started with two cakes at my parents house, balloons from the ceiling, a very nice banner, a singing candle, and presents. Today we had pizza for dinner and chocolate cake. Nick got some great cards from friend and some much needed card playing supplies. Madeline was very interested in Nick's cards!

Happy Birthday Nicky!!

Hi Mom & Dad!

Thank you air force for the 3 day weekend. We headed to Wichita to visit the family. Every time we head back to Wichita we get so busy seeing old friends, eating at big town restaurants, and shopping at Target that we don't even get to spend quality time with my parents. This time we finally got some great bridge card playing time! Team Nick and Ross are still in the lead but Team Julie and Jenna are making a strong comeback. Madeline loved sitting on everyones lap and watching the cards. She did try to eat a few of the cards but she mostly loved all the attention.

Family Time

During our short visit in Wichita my Aunt Carol from Maine and Cousin Joey from Texas were in town. We spent a fun Saturday catching up and playing with Madeline. My Dad even talked Joey and Nick into helping him install my Mom's new microwave.
