My Little Stander

Madeline loves to stand up! She is quite happy if someone will just stand her up and lean her against the couch. She still doesn't have any teeth! Hopefully some are on the way with all the drool lately. Nick is busy smoking a pork shoulder today and a thing or two of ribs. A nice relaxing weekend! Last night we went bowling with the Brown's. Laura made these super cute cupcakes and I even beat Nick in bowling on the first game!!!!!!!
Now I'm off to enjoy the fruit of Nick's labor.

Football Fan!

Nick is a huge Ohio State football fan. In honor of the big game tonight I made my first ever stadium bundt cake. I thought it turned out pretty cute for my first time and just using up stuff around the house. It is a red velvet bundt cake with frosting decorations. If anyone wants to borrow the pan just let me know. I think we might have to have a Superbowl party just so I can use this pan again.

A collection of fun times!

Over the holiday we have had a chance to get together with our friends the Shaub's. The girls LOVE to give each other the stare down and Madeline is very interested in trying to poke Isabella's eyes. They both loved the wagon and enjoyed their ride around the house while the Daddies watch some football.
Then when the weather was beautiful (72 degrees) we headed to Quartz mountain for a cookout and a walk. The walk got cut a wee bit short because it is a little bit more difficult to hike with an extra 22 pounds on your back. :) We should have brought the wagon. Everything is more fun with the wagon just ask the two princesses.

Madeline isn't too sure about this sharing thing but Isabella is game for anything!

Finally Feeling Better!

Madeline is finally back to her old self again. She is such a happy baby! She is rolling everywhere this week and trying so hard to crawl. This morning she was even sleeping on her tummy and sometime in the night had decided to pull her sheet off her bed. She loves all the attention the sweet ladies in the church nursery give. She was busy putting on the Madeline Schindler show when I went to pick her up this morning. She was sitting on Miss Carol's lap just chatting and chatting. She has also started to wave. I am trying to enjoy these last few weeks of her not able to crawl! I think things are going to get a bit more difficult when she is on the move.
Laughing at Daddy!
Waving to Mommy!
