Here is a picture of two of my favorite people before church. Madeline is wearing her new dress from Great-Grandma Erma. Nick thought she looked a wee bit like Christmas, but it fits so perfect we had to wear it! Thanks Erma!! We can't wait to see you at Christmas!

Little Miss Pumpkin
Little Miss Pumpkin
(My 7 month old!)
This is the story of Little Miss Pumpkin who a had a very long Halloween. It all began with a yummy breakfast all over our face.
After Mommy cleaned her little Pumpkin, Daddy decided it was time to play. After all the playing then came a nap and our favorite meal sweet potato! After lunch this little Pumpkin met her friend the skunk for a little photo shoot.

Upon finishing the photo shoot Little Miss Pumpkin noticed the high school homecoming parade was coming down the road. After waving and squealing for all the high school children with Natalie and Isabella (the skunk), Little Miss Pumpkin headed on home for a quick snack before the squadron Halloween Party.
At the Squadron party Little Miss Pumpkin played with Daddy and was very cute.
On the way home Little Miss Pumpkin was worn out and ready to call it a day!
The End....wait not the end..... Little Miss Pumpkin woke up right when we got home and sat on the porch with Mommy to hand out treats. Then Daddy called from "The Tower" and Little Miss Pumpkin got to go take a snack and warm cookies to the hard working crew. Now it is the end and Little Miss Pumpkin is sound to sleep in her bed dreaming about her fabulous Halloween with all her friends!

It had to happen!
Yes, it finally happened Maddie said her first word and it was Da - Da! Needless to say Nick is the happiest guy in the world and I am currently working with Maddie on a daily basis with her soon to be second word Mom! She tried the Da-Da song out the entire way to Lawton yesterday and throughout Sam's. She is so cute because she has turned it into a song and laughs at herself in the middle of her concert. Maddie got her flu shot today and is a wee bit grumpy but I did catch a picture of her playing with her favorite toys before the shot. Hopefully we will get some good pictures this weekend when Nick and I go for a picnic and hike at Quartz Mountain this weekend. Also, for those of you who don't know...Nick has started his masters with Liberty. He is working on his MBA. I am super proud of him but sad that our evenings of watching Monks, 24's, and Office reruns are coming to an end as he is having to study. I guess that is all the news from the Schindlers!

New Halloween Outfit
Well, I decided that our little Maddie needed some festive outfits for the upcoming Halloween season. So I whipped up some pants and a matching shirt. Of course I had to make a coordinating hair bow and now she is ready to celebrate. So if anyone wants to invite us to a fall party.... We are so ready. She is such a good baby she will just let me put anything on her and take her picture. She is now able to sit up by herself and she is loving it. She will wiggle and wiggle when you are holding her. She just wants you to sit her up! It has been so nice and cool here. It is really feeling like fall! Today is also Nick's and my 3rd wedding anniversary. At lunch today (fancy Sonic) we talked about all the things that have happened in the past 3 years. The time has gone so quickly. What an adventure!
