Here are some facts about our baby girl…

She LOVES to talk on the phone. She is always the first to get to the phone and very quick to say hello.

Her favorite reward is a little computer time on sprout or Disney websites.

She is finally loving and happily going to BSF, MOPS, and Sunday School.

Her little brother is in love with her and lights up when she comes running.

She is the fastest trike rider. She can really get those legs moving and she is getting very good at looking both ways before crossing the street on the way to the park.

She carries a Bible everywhere and will tell you all about what is inside (although Clifford and Mickey Mouse seem to pop up in a few stories).

She can climb on and off the potty by herself! (One of my favorite skills!)

Her words and phrases of choice are delicious, no way, GUYS!, Oh Nick, Little Man (for Will), I no like _____, I love this guys it is like a party in the USA, I am so frustrated, how many monies is that, & my tummy hurts I need some Dr. Pepper.

She loves to play school with her stuffed animals and a pair of scissors can keep her entertained for HOURS. Every Sunday I give her the newspaper, a paper sack, and scissors. It provides almost an hour of entertainment. She can be a great helper and is getting pretty good at making her bed and helping me put away the laundry. She keeps us on our toes and sure brings lots of joy to our family. She is a chatty little girl with lots to say. We love our Maddie Grace!

Loves his rattle

Will loves his rattle and his bouncy seat. He is an easy to please kind of guy.  You sure can’t beat his laugh.

4 months old

I can believe Will is already 4 months old! He is growing everyday and so alert. He loves toys. He is always reaching, grabbing, shaking, or yelling at his things. He now likes the office and LOVES the bouncy seat. He even spends some of his day chewing on the ribbons on his lovey. We are working on taking better naps and sleeping a bit longer at night. He does love to eat. I’m not sure of his weight but it HAS to be close to or over 16 pounds. He is wearing my arms out. He has the best laugh and smiles so easily. He is a joy to our home! His big sister sure is crazy about him and helped me get a few smiling pictures.

DIGIORNO® Pizza & Hoops House Party™

So I entered to win a DIGIORNO® Pizza & Hoops House Party™ on house party. Guess what… I WON! So last night we had our Life Group (Sunday School Class) and our super fun neighbors over for some basketball and pizza. At finally count we ended up with 22 adults and 23 children. (I think). Digiorno sent me a huge party kit with plates, wet wipes, a basketball over the door game, hot mitt, pizza cutter, timer, name tags, thunder sticks (used by the kids as swords), a sign for the yard, 6 free pizza coupons and $4.00 off coupons for all my guests! So my plan was to take pictures all night long but I was having so much fun I forgot. So here are a few before pictures while the pizzas were cooking. The pizzas we choose came with either breadsticks or wings. The long tray is for the wings and breadsticks and the big spot in the middle of the table is for the YUMMY pizzas. I just have to give a HUGE shout out to all my party guests who help with Will & Madeline so I wouldn’t burn the pizza. Nick of course had to go do a work thing and missed the first 2 hours of the party! Good thing we had such helpful party guests. The little basketballs on the table are cake pops. Let me just say they were yummy. I think I might be making those again! Our friends also brought yummy snacks to totally overflow the table. I think we all ate our way through the games. Now if only K-State would have won and a few other teams so my bracket wouldn’t be so busted!

Madeline waiting for our guests. She was so excited to have kids over to play with. She kept asking me if this was her birthday party. I sure hope I win a few more house parties. It was lots of fun!

The Magic House

With Nick off work we were able to check out The Magic House.  It is the local Children’s museum.  Let me just say it is FABULOUS!  We had a super fun day.

They had a fabulous water room. It was filled with water activities. Madeline loved it and got quite wet. The area was designed for little kids. They also had a sand table, tons of slides, a baby section for crawlers, a button pushing area, lots of climbing, and this area only allowed children under 7!

Then they had a city. It was filled with a restaurant, hospital, bank, grocery store, fishing pond, ice cream stand, tree house, delivery truck, and mechanic shop. Madeline had so much fun pretending and using the kid sized equipment. Each of the areas was donated by a local business. For example the bank was donated by the bank down the road. It had safes, an ATM, teller stations, computers, and a place to fill out your deposit slip. It was sooo REAL!!!

Here is Maddie doing some grocery shopping. She loved doing the self checkout with the scanner.

Here she is charging us for the pizza lunch she served us. She was pretty good waitress she only dropped our pizza twice on the way from the kitchen.

Fixing the car

The other fun thing was a HUGE slide that went from the top floor to the bottom. It was twisty and I was sure Madeline would be afraid but she went up and down a jillion times!  I think this will be a place we will come a few times a year. It is just so nice that it is made for preschoolers!  Now if some friends will just come visit we will go again!

Still Scared

Yep, Madeline is still to afraid to drive her car. Do you think this will last past age 16?

Car time?
