World Book Day

Madeline has always loved the book The Popcorn Shop.

 

Nick loves to read it and I think they both have it memorized. St. Mary’s sent home a letter and said the children were to come dressed as their favorite book character to celebrate World Book Day. After we first wanted to go as each princess and Tinkerbelle we finally agreed and got excited about Popcorn Nell.

I think she mostly liked the outfit because she got to snack on the popcorn all day.

I would buy popcorn for this cute little girl!

Week 9

Week 8

Park

We went on one of our favorite walks along the river to high street.

William just likes to throw rocks in the water. This is how we keep him from falling in!

 

There are so many ducks and swans.

A great park!

The kids loved when Nick bounced the Jeep.

They were playing bus and train in the backyard with the chairs. They were having so much fun. I had to go take a picture.

Yep, his pants get holes in them in about 1 minute. He is hard on clothes!

Castling

We spent yesterday castling. It was rainy but not too cold.

Our first stop was a yummy bakery across from Orford Castle. Yummy bacon and avocado sandwich and brownie. (No pictures, I ate it too fast)  Then on to the castle which was CLOSED! But beautiful from the outside.

Then onto Framingham Castle.  They even had a fun scavenger hunt and Madeline earned a medal!

Will still loves throwing rocks in wells.

Madeline gave this castle 2 thumbs up!

He is home!!!
