Madeline loves dancing to the opening music of The Office. I think Nick must have replayed the opening credits 10 times so she could get all her moves in!

Favorite Time of the Day
Here is a picture of one of Madeline’s favorite times of day. The big fun walk to the mailbox! Aren’t they cute?
Yes that big white package is her new backpack and lunchbox. They are too cute and will be featured in a future post. :)

Baby Doll
Madeline has all of a sudden fallen in love with her Baby Doll! She has put her in the cart and pushed her all around the house. She even took her baby out a few times and danced with her and helped her walk on the couch. When she is pushing her around the house she just talks and talks to the baby doll. I wonder if that is what we look like at Wal-Mart?

Oklahoma City Zoo
Today (after Nick finished his homework) we went to the Oklahoma City Zoo. It was super hot but Madeline loved seeing all the animals. She even yelled FIIIISH at the fish tanks.
She was our tour guide and map reader.
We even shared a snow cone. YUM!
Today she also discovered that with one button she can turn on the hotel radio. With a press of another button she can scan through the radio stations. Nick and I have been enjoying a sample of all the sounds of Oklahoma City radio stations.
And this is her after our busy and super fun day...

Lessons In a Hotel Room
These are the lesson I have learned in my time at the Hampton Inn….
1. The housekeeping ladies always want to clean during naptime.
2.There is never enough space to put all the luggage.
3. Hotel keys are easy for a 16 month old to hide.
4. NEVER stay in a hotel room that is handicap accessible. Hotel handicap is Toddler Heaven. So far Madeline has turned the lights on and off 1 million times , open the bathroom door on Nick or me at least 14 times, turned on and off the shower 117 times, opened and closed the closet doors 29 times, emptied the dresser drawers 3 times, pulled the toilet paper all the way into the bedroom and back again, threw her binky in the toilet, kissed herself in the mirror for hours on end, and enjoyed the buttons on the tv even more then our trip to Disney last year, and I think she even called China once on the phone.
Only 4 more nights of this “vacation”.
But then again…who could get mad at this cute thing? I must go and reroll the toilet paper and search for the room key……

Oh GRANDMA!
Madeline had one of her first experiences of what childhood was like for me. Grandma rolled her on my old rollers which were her old childhood rollers.
I think the pictures speak for themselves.
Oh Grandma what did you do to my hair? AHHHHH!!!
Oh Grandma what did you do to my hair? AHHHHH!!! But with her hair curly she did look a little bit more like my baby pictures. Maybe????
