Lessons In a Hotel Room

These are the lesson I have learned in my time at the Hampton Inn….
1. The housekeeping ladies always want to clean during naptime.
2.There is never enough space to put all the luggage.
3. Hotel keys are easy for a 16 month old to hide.
4. NEVER stay in a hotel room that is handicap accessible. Hotel handicap is Toddler Heaven. So far Madeline has turned the lights on and off 1 million times , open the bathroom door on Nick or me at least 14 times, turned on and off the shower 117 times, opened and closed the closet doors 29 times, emptied the dresser drawers 3 times, pulled the toilet paper all the way into the bedroom and back again, threw her binky in the toilet, kissed herself in the mirror for hours on end, and enjoyed the buttons on the tv even more then our trip to Disney last year, and I think she even called China once on the phone.
Only 4 more nights of this “vacation”.

But then again…who could get mad at this cute thing? I must go and reroll the toilet paper and search for the room key……
